FhUSA CMI's Zeifman part of PennState's Distinguished Speaker Series

Last Tuesday, Fraunhofer USA CMI’s Michael Zeifman, Principal Research Scientist, presented at Pennsylvania State University College of Engineering’s Distinguished Speaker Series. One of the goals of the 2030 Challenge, adopted by The American Institute of Architects and the US Green Building Council, is the renovation of existing building stock to achieve 50% reduction in fossil fuel use. In the talk, Michael discussed Fraunhofer USA CMI’s remote home energy assessment technologies powered by data from ubiquitous sensors – communicating thermostats. This presentation highlights the importance of the developed metrics in identifying home improvement opportunities. #research #engineering #architects #building #opportunities #energy
