As the Software and Controls Manager at Fraunhofer USA CMI he manages the process development effort for the custom automation group, giving the equipment its brain. He has spent the last 12+ years developing custom automation for a range of industries including: fiber optic, telecom, plastic molding, bio pharmaceutical vaccine production, and metal forming.  He ensures that the customer’s vision is fully realized in the custom automation.

Aaron Sharpe received his M.S. in Global Manufacturing Engineering and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.
